In the focus of development are the single screw extruders, which are built in screw diameters from 35 mm up to 250 mm and in lengths, related to the diameter, of 20 D, 24 D, 30 D, 33 D and specially requested lengths up to 40 D.

All extruder sizes are available non-vented, vented or double-vented.
Modern screw geometries guarantee constant pressure and proper homogenization with maximum output rates. In addition to processing plastics, Kuhne extruders are also used to process biodegradeable materials, wood flour or fibre reinforced plastics as well as other extrudeable materials.

Kuhne manufactures approximately 200 extruders annually in Sankt Augustin.
In addition to custom made extruders, Kuhne manufactures certain machine types in series to assure short delivery times and good value.
